Newark Legacy Charter School

Dear Newark Legacy Community:

We hope that you had a wonderful summer!

We are incredibly excited to welcome back our returning families and to greet our new scholars. This year promises to be an exciting one.  Our third grade will be the founding cohort at our co-location home in the South Ward and also become the first class at Newark Legacy to take the NJASK.   Our younger scholars will continue to excel at our founding location on Lyons Avenue.  Most importantly, we will work collectively toward achieving our sole mission:  to lay the foundation for each scholar to achieve the dream of attending and finishing college.

We are a Community joined by this bond and we—administrators, teachers, and staff members—will be relentless in pursuing our goals.   Together, let’s make this a great year!
